I despise this time of year. Anyone who knows me can tell that I change. If I disappeared and hibernated for three months, I honestly wouldn't mind. If you keep on reading, you'll see what irks me the most about this time of year. Surprisingly, I listed three reasons why I like this time of year.

In case Kristin wants to get a fish of her own, or a lizard, or frog, or something else that lives in an aquarium, I purchased my own new two gallon tank for Buddy. I can't have much bigger according to the landlords for fear of water damage. A 'desktop aquarium', as stated by them, was good enough. Five gallon seemed too big for one fish, and too much money. The two gallon is perfect.

Kristin got me my own fish! He's a Delta-tail Betta, similar to Sharkey, but of a different type Betta. He's a gorgeous blue, a very turquoise marked with a red hue on his fins. The flashes from the camera make him appear green. I shall take more with a different flash tomorrow. He's curious, but still very afraid of humans. He's been watching me all day. I hope the new water will serve him well.

As of October 15th, DirecTV has begun broadcasting all four major networks in HD, with more on the way. I can now tune into ABC, FOX, NBC, and CBS in high definition. Not only will the major sporting events now be in HD, such as the Super Bowl and World Series, but shows like 24, Fringe and House are now far more engrossing. Full 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound is being broadcast as well. I actually have a reason to watch the networks again.

The presidential debate looked marvelous.

I took a personality test that was hosted online. It's not supposed to be accurate by any means. It's one of those silly internet things that go around and attempt to judge who you are based on a set of questions. My results were shocking, as I thought I had certain things pegged. Either I don't trust my own beliefs, or the test isn't that good. I choose the latter.

I preordered Lordi's new album Deadache from TheEndRecords. Now that they have an American label, I can get their albums much much easier, and far cheaper. Can't wait until late October for the release.
