I haven't seen a concert in a long time. Last time, Reverend Horton Heat graced the city's presence and put on an amazing show. But last night, I bought two tickets to Green Day's American Idiot Tour in Hershey, Pennsylvania on October 26th at the GIANT Center. It's Ironic because Wegman's and GIANT are direct competitors.

They're going to start having me come in more often at 6am for work to open the Accounting Office at the store. I don't mind it actually. It actually feels like I'm accomplishing something by balancing the books for the store, rather than just handing out shopper's discounts and getting peanut butter for the lady who "forgot it". I can't stand that. I'm not a babysitter. Handling the cashier duties is respectable. As is making the decisions for the whole front end of the store. But overriding personal checks and babying the guys who work in the parking lot is NOT my idea of a fun day at work.

You would have just had to have been there to see what I mean. But it's just one of those days that shouldn't have happened. Between many others just having bad days, and the customers giving us a hard time, the day was just a waste. I feel like I accomplished nothing, and only got spat upon for being a burden to the ones above me. It was just horrible. Let's leave it at that. The best part is, I don't have to run the front of the store again until Next Sunday, and I'm turning down all shifts on the front offered to me if they come up. I just hate it THAT MUCH.

It has gotten really hard to accept that Kelly is in college. Over the summer, there were very few days that we did not have lunch together, or see each other at work, or both. I always made it a point to spend some of my day with her. Why would I not? The fortune cookies and laughter shared over those many lunch breaks and nights in the parking lots became very familiar.
