I've learned a lot in thirty years. I've learned who I am, what matters to me, and how to survive in a world where assimilation is the norm. Breaking those boundaries took guts. And even though they were removed during surgery in 2001, I still got 'em. I spent my days playing the drums, meddling with web design, and restoring a 1986 Porsche 944.

The Porsche  See it in action!1986 Porsche 944 Restoration - Called the Poor Man's Porsche,the 944 has only four cyliners, puts out 150HP, and is now a classic automobile. I have attemped to bring this once-beaten vehicle back to life as a daily driver. From the engine to the interior, the story has been a long and hard one.

Starship Troopers Pinball
As of October 15th, DirecTV has begun broadcasting all four major networks in HD, with more on the way. I can now tune into ABC, FOX, NBC, and CBS in high definition. Not only will the major sporting events now be in HD, such as the Super Bowl and World Series, but shows like 24, Fringe and House are now far more engrossing. Full 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound is being broadcast as well. I actually have a reason to watch the networks again.
The presidential debate looked marvelous.

I took a personality test that was hosted online. It's not supposed to be accurate by any means. It's one of those silly internet things that go around and attempt to judge who you are based on a set of questions. My results were shocking, as I thought I had certain things pegged. Either I don't trust my own beliefs, or the test isn't that good. 
I choose the latter.

I preordered Lordi's new album Deadache from TheEndRecords. Now that they have an American label, I can get their albums much much easier, and far cheaper. Can't wait until late October for the release.

This is what Sharky looks like when he flares up. Betta fish use their gills to appear much larger and menacing than they really are. He seems a lot healthier now than last week, as he flares up at just about everything he sees, including me. You can also see the bubble nest Bettas tend to create so that the females can deposit their eggs.

I'm taking care of Kristin's Betta, her Thai Fighting Fish. He's been really sick lately but has finally come around. He flares his beard at me when I look at him. He's swimming around again and no longer floating and gasping. I think he was constipated.
